Main Street Baptist Church in Goodman, MS.  This photo was made in July, 2003.  This church was convening on a Sunday night during the Great Flood of 1927, when the members heard cries for help from a family caught in the nearby Big Black River.  A heroic rescue was effected by a local man named Dan James.
